Been experimenting with my Cats Cradle Ruler and some fall fabrics..
The ruler lets you create the triangles in this design without worry of stretching your fabric and worrying about bias edges.  You simply cut the rectangles and squares as noted on the ruler(convenient so we don't loose the directions!)  Sew the pieces, use the ruler to mark where to sew and then use the same ruler to square up your perfect block.  And a added bonus..it makes two sections at a time.  The ruler has measurements for 6 different sizes.

It's easy to blog...just do it.  Do it today...  here I am, don't know how easy it'll be, but why not give it a go?  I mostly want a place to share the things I make.. it's my getaway, my me time, my stress relief.      I'm finding out that I'm happier when I'm doing, making, or creating 'something'.  I like lots of crafts, Stamping, scrapbooking, sewing, quilting, painting, whatever strikes my interest at any time😊😊
Currently looking for the next project, so I'll share the lastest one. YoYo's, lots of yoyo's. I made a lot of them while on a car trip to occupy my time and found this Pinterest idea last Tuesday

I promptly bought me a styrofoam cone and some pins. Glued on a candlestick, and done.   Well sort of.  I didn't have enough yoyos to cover the large cone I bought(what was I thinking?). So I did some more sewing and finally this past weekend here's what I came up with

I am thinking of a Christmas version, but definitely larger yoyo's and a smaller cone!

The size I used is the green small size  Next time I'll use the orange large size
